Itunes rip-off

June 3, 2009 · 2 Comments

Recently Itunes increased their prices from $.99 per song to $1.29. Typically, a $.20 increase isn’t a lot of money (unless your talking gas prices…ugh), but when it comes to this current economy and how much money these artists already have, it just doesn’t seem very fair. This sort of thing is what makes people turn to those illegal downloading sites such as limewire or morpheus.  Although people know its wrong to illegally download,  they also think that its wrong to exploit fans and jack up prices for people who are already financially wealthy just to increase their profits that much more. I understand both sides, but somewhere there has to be a middle ground or price.

Does anyone by chance know why gas prices have suddenly shot up?

The big oil moguls in the middle east ie. Dubai are about to start another project besides there tallest building in the world, indoor ski resort in the desert, and man made islands… and they need money to pay for it because they don’t want to spend the billions that they already have.
