Freedom Ride Home

Yesterday was my last day as a freshman at Ohio State: Mansfield, I lived on campus the entire year. I’m originally from Ashtabula which is 2 hours away. I had just finished my final exam in Chemistry, and my check-out time was at 12:00, and then I was free from studying, and the stress that comes along with it. The feeling I had for the 2 hours on my way home was extremely unexplainable. Just that I knew that I didn’thave to wake up and go to class and sit through a long lecture at least until next year. But then again as soon as I get home I felt like there was a list of things that I had to do, but I really didn’t. It just happened that every time I came home I had a huge assignment that I needed to type up or study for. I guess all I can say is I’m just extremely relieved that my Freshman year of college is over.

Flight 447

I just recently saw in the newspaper this morning that Flight 447′s tail section was found intact, along with eight bodies bringing the total to 24. Although the black boxes were not found which would give the investigators a better idea of what made this plane crash, they have moved on the idea that air speed censors were being faulty and giving pilots false readings. Similar cases have occurred around the world where the censors tell the pilots that they are going too slow, or too fast causing the pilots to react, and some of the consequences are the plane breaking apart in mid airor plummeting to the ground. Officials have told pilots not to react to any suspicious activity where air speed indicators react all of a suddenly. I’m a little skeptical about flying at this point because, it seems they still haven’t solved the problem. Also hearing about how pilot’s have failed consecutive training tests, and providing false information on their resumes doesn’t particularly strike my interest in wanting to be on thecaptains plane. I’m curious to see what the Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) (Police for Aircraft) does with these situations. It’s very hard to regulate air-traffic when it’s outside of the country.

General Motors a waste?

Just recently General Motors(GM) hit another brick wall in sales that had them plummeting, and forcing them to filefor bankruptcy.  The government then steps in and dumps around lump sum into the company to keep them afloat. I disagree with this completely because every company is responsible for their actions, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t dump money into my fathers business if it was going downhill. I know that the auto industry is what America needs, but when a company that had executives making more money then they needed there has to be a concern. It just irritates me that all you need is an important company and you can do what ever you need to do, and the government is there to help you out. But the catch 22 is your company has to be vital for the country. Recent set-backs with GM were caused because the company failed to move on the electric car idea, that Toyota used (hybrid). Toyota is now known for the electric/gasoline car, where as GM could have been at the top of the crop. Instead a foreign company has totally utilized the auto industry with the idea that GM once had but cancelled it.

Plans for summer!

This summer i just dont wanna sit around my house or just work all the time. I plan on going somwhere to have some fun. I went to florida fo spring break with the family, everyone knows how fun that is. Even though i had a good time, i want to get out an go with some friends. So i can go or do whatever i want. The main thing that i want to do is to go white water rafting. It is so much fun, the speed mixed in with adreneline is the best feeling out there. While i am out ther i would like to do outdoor activities. Like biking rock climbing and rafting. I think that would make my summer if i would be able to get away and do the things that i want to do.

Flight 447

Air France Flight 447 disappeared with 228 people on board according to Frances air force colonel. The discoveries of debris and the bodies are all helping searchers narrow their search for the jet’s black boxes, perhaps investigators best hope of learning what happened to the flight. Events like this scare me to want to try an fly. I know the chances of a plane crash is like winning the lottery, but with my luck it would happen to me. In car crashes people have the chance to survive, but when your in a plane crash the odds are that you are most likely not going to survive. This is the main reason that i am afraid to fly. I am not scared of hights just the feeling im going to crash.

Erotrip 2012

I hope to be able to go on a trip around Europe when I graduate from OSU. I want to have a friend or two in order to have a funnier time while I’m over there. I want to start my journey In London and while I’m there I want to see all of the historic monuments and go out at night. Then I will travel to the main part of Europe. Start in Spain in order to run with the bulls, hit up Paris in order to pick my sister up some designer clothing. Then I will go Germany to have some of the best beer and I will go to Italy to look at the monuments. I will end up in Poland to look around and I will end this journey in Greece to check out the beaches. Does anyone else think they will go on trip to Europe?

Lake Erie

In the summer time there is no other place I would rather be then Lake Erie. I love to go up to the lake to go fishing for Walleyes, Steal heads and the common bass. The thing that I truly like to do is go boating and Jet skiing with friends as well as family. One time we decided to travel up all the way to Kelly’s Island only to get gas for the trip up to Canada. We had to fight the waves all the way up to Canada. By the time we made it and decided to turn back to the states, we noticed that the dark clouds began to form on the horizon. Needless to say we were in the middle of a summer storm miles from where we needed to be. The rain felt like we were being shot by little BB’s. We had to deal with that for an hour and a half but we all made it back, with very sore bodies. The next day I felt like I was in a MMA fight.

Atlantis the Paradise

Two years ago I went to a hotel in the Bahamas called Atlantis. This Resort is one of my favorite places that I have ever been at. I wasn’t able to bring a friend with me but I got to have my own room. I also meet a lot of kids that I still talk to today. The resort itself was fun from the casino that didn’t ID you as long as you’re blowing you money. Trust me; I lost my pants down on the blackjack table. They also had a water slide that went straight down into a tunnel that was completely underwater. If you are able to look around, you will see sharks turtles and stingrays swimming all around. You felt as if you were swimming with these fascinating creatures.

Hazard Flight

When I was ten years old, I was on a flight from Cleveland to Miami. On the way to Miami my plan experienced a little treble while we were over Georgia. The plane started to shack at a very alarming rate and the seatbelt signs started to light up. All the babies on the aircraft started to cry and it was hard to concentrate. The pilot of the plane said we were flying over a truly horrible storm. I began to get sick when the person across from my seat started to puke all over the place. I ran to the back of the plane to try and find my mom because we were split up. I found her and started to cry. She comforted me though this troubled time. I later found out the plane flew over a tornado.

Beach Days

My favorite place to visit in the world, is going to beach for a day in the Sun. I love the people you meet while trying to catch a few rays of suns. Not to mention the ability to cool your burnt body in the refreshing water. People that go to the beach are usually let their guards down to talk to people in order to have a good time. I love taking a skim board and trying to keep my balance instead of eating a lot of sand like normal. If you have anything (nice) to say about the beach please leave a comment.
